Crisis prevention and Peace building in Ukraine – Time to Act!: The Final Open Space Gathers Project Participants in Kyiv

On December 22-23,  the final activity of the "Crisis prevention and Peace building in Ukraine – Time to Act!" project was hosted Kyiv. This 2-days event was conducted in the Open Space format for best participants of the previous activities of the project with the invitation of the project partners.

During its implementation we summarized the overall project work, evaluated the effectiveness of implemented activities, shared achievements and difficulties among different target groups and distributed results and project developments. We also organized brain-sessions and developed ideas for future work in this field, which were written down in the "Open Space Book".

At the end of the event we rewarded all participants with honorable certificates for their fruitful work in the frames of the project and the valuable contribution they have made to the process of peace building in Ukraine.

According to the participants, the project helped them to learn the experience of other countries in the context of peacebuilding – in particular, during online discussion with German experts, as well as to assess the importance of peacebuilding in Ukrainian society today, in time of the armed conflict in Donbass. In addition, the project helped them to understand how they can contribute to the peacebuilding in Ukraine through their own communities.
