Means and methods of bodies of self-organization of population creation: the training for activists took place in Kamianske

On November 14-15, the training "Practical aspects of creation and activity of bodies of self-organization of population" took place in Kamianske. The event was attended by activists, representatives of NGOs, heads of BSOPs, candidates for deputies in local elections and other interested citizens.

The event was aimed at mastering such an instrument of local self-government as bodies of self-organization of population.

Our trainers:
- Yevhen Lebedev – expert of the Centre for Urban Development on working with local authorities and the creation of BSOPs.
- Luibov Lebedeva – stock market specialist, financial expert of the Centre for Urban Development.

During the event, the issues concerning the peculiarities of the bodies of self-organization of population, as well as the housing cooperatives co-owners associations development were discussed. The trainers provided knowledge and shared practical skills based on the cases that they worked out independently during their own work on the creation of HCs and BSOPs.

Summing up the event, participants noted that the knowledge and skills they gained in the training will be implemented in their further work in local communities.

The training was implemented in coperation with German organization "Media in Cooperation and Transition" (MiCT) using the German Federal Foreign Office resources.
