YOUTH FOR THE PROTECTION OF WOMEN'S RIGHTS

The main aim of the project was to develop the potential of youth regarding the culture of women's rights and to increase civic activism at the local level.

The project addressed gender issues, such as equality in decision-making, employment and business, access to information and education, the role of girls and women in our society, and domestic violence. The project provided participants with tools to maintain these rights, make them visible and their voices audible, to implement cooperation with stakeholders.

The innovative approach consisted of a peer-to-peer methodology and the use of creative channels, such as the creation of short videos and print presentations, through which participants were able to show their creative abilities in expression of their views on women's rights.

As a result, the general level of awareness of the target audience on women's rights has been significantly increased, attention to the need to support gender equality has been drawn, knowledge and skills gained through the project activities were disseminated by participants among their peers in local communities.
